TrueNorth Cultural Arts Policies

Membership Fee:
An annual TrueNorth Membership ($35 for individuals / $60 for families) is due at time of registration for most classes.

Payment of Fees:
Tuition payment for lessons/classes is due at the time of registration. Families and students with past due accounts will not be permitted to continue attending.

Lesson/Class Cancellation Policy:
Teachers are not required to hold nor reschedule lessons or classes missed by a student. Payment will not be reimbursed for missed days.

Refund Policy:
Every effort is made to place students with teachers able to meet their individual needs. In the rare case of irreconcilable differences, a term refund may be requested no later than the third lesson/class. Otherwise refunds are made only under the most extraordinary circumstances. Petition for refunds must be made in writing. If approved, refunds should be received within 30 days.

Dismissal Policy:
TrueNorth Cultural Arts reserves the right to dismiss any student due to behavioral problems, delinquency in payment of fees and/or failure to abide by policies.

Attendance Policy:
Faithful attendance at TrueNorth Cultural Arts classes is necessary to obtain the maximum benefit of the education provided. Self-discipline in this area is expected of all students in all levels. Unnecessary absences or repeated tardiness is a discourtesy to fellow students and instructors. It places an additional burden upon instructors and classroom dynamics. Parents are to encourage and ensure the punctual and regular attendance of all their children enrolled in lessons or classes.

Student Behavior Policy:
At TrueNorth Cultural Arts, we realize the importance of proper student behavior in order to facilitate an atmosphere favorable for the learning process. We expect and anticipate our students to respect instructors, staff, fellow classmates and property with behavior that reflects honesty, dependability and accountability and adheres to the mission/vision/values of TrueNorth.
