	Blooms of Steel The Making of an International City  May 9th - 26th  7:30PM, Fridays & Saturdays 3:00PM, Sundays & Memorial Day (No performance on May 18th) TrueNorth at French Creek The theatrical performance written specifically for TrueNorth provides a window into the growth of the city of Lorain, a city born from the steel mills. The series is made up of a juried show of kids works, a meet & greet open house, and six master workshop events.
	KidsFest   May 18th 3:00PM TrueNorth at French Creek TrueNorth students collaborate to present a culmination of the winter classes through dance, drama, music and visual arts. 	Summer Fine Art Discovery Camps  June 16th - July 25th Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 12:30PM Pembroke Kids & Digital Discovery Center, Avon Lake Pre-School, 3 year old – 5 year old children entering Kindergarten in the Fall 20 students per week maximum enrollment School-Age, children entering 1st – 3rd grades in the Fall Up to 20 students per week maximum enrollment Upper Elementary, children entering 4th – 6th grades in the Fall 12 students per week maximum enrollment 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, Avon Lake at Pembroke Kids & Digital Discovery Center Facility Concluding Friday of each camp will take place at the French Creek Nature Center and continue through 2:00 p.m. with parents arriving at 12 noon for a bag lunch and a time of Show and Tell with their children and class presentations. Younger Children, age 3 through entering 3rd grade, will be teamed up with Early Childhood Educators through Pembroke Kids, plus four TrueNorth Cultural Arts Instructors (Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts).   Students, entering grades 4th – 6th will create short digital films and animations with state of the art computers and digital camcorders, taught by two Digital Discovery Instructors and one TrueNorth Fine Art Instructor. 	Summer Youth Theater Camps  Session I: June 9th - July 11th Session II: July 14th - August 15th Monday - Friday, 9:30AM - 4:30PM, TrueNorth at French Creek Richard A. Fortney, Founder and Executive Director of TrueNorth Cultural Arts, is please to announce youth theatre camps for ages 9 - 18. In addition to Mr. Fortney the camp will feature Cleveland Actors Patrick Ciamacco and Marie Smith, as well as, guest instructors (including local Actress and Playwright Kim Ceja) to teach Theatre Basics, Music, Character Development, Stage Movement, Dance, Scenery, Props and experience being part of a cast.
